The Wonderful Northeast
I am amazed by the beautiful varied places I photograph each week. From the amazing NYC to the quiet beauty and the Catskills and Adirondacks. Between these two extremes are many gems. From the stately Rhinebeck and hip Woodstock and the Hudson River towns that have really had a reaissance over the last 10 years. Poughkeepsie, Beacon, Saugerties, Kingston, Hudson, Garrison, West Point, Sleeply Hollow just to name a few.
Aperture Photography has the privlege of photographing in the beautiful Hudson Valley. We just love the oppurtunity to create beautiful photography for our customers. I could not imagine a more perfect setting. Our main area is from Saratoga south to New York City and New Jersey. The challanges of being a New York Wedding Photographer are many. So far this year we have photographed weddings in tempertures from 10 degrees to about 100 degrees. The humid summers have a certain charm with wonderful sultry nights. The summer rains and bright sunny days really take years of work to master the skills. The Fall season's beautiful light and crisp air make this area the envy of the world. It sure is fun photographing a winter wedding with a snowy backdrop.
The Catskills and Adirondacks are the a photographic delight. The small towns and big cities have architcture that is among the best in the world.
The areas history adds a flavor that cannot be matched anywhere in the country.
